These porcelain pebbles are hand-thrown on the potter's wheel and carved when they are leather hard. The black is a porcelain slip which is carved and shows the white body underneath. Fired at cone 8 in an electric kiln.
They can be used as oil-lamps and I ship them with a wick and a funnel for easy non-spill filling. They can also be used as bud-vases since they are water-tight. (I am in the process of photographing details, will be posting them soon)
The small white-one for sale here is 3.5" wide by 2" high. It can be made in black also, please specify preferences from the drop down menu below.
I personally like these pebbles as plain decorative and have a group of them in a large bowl on my living room table. Check back often for more designs and color options.
